I. ABOUT JOURNAL:

‘Law Audience Journal (e-ISSN: 2581-6705)’, is an online research scholarly Journal in the field of law. It is a double-blind peer-reviewed Journal. The frequency of this Journal is bi-monthly; it means that the Journal publishes at least 6 issues in a year online. So far, the Journal has published 3 Volumes and 15 Issues. This time, the journal is providing you with a fast-track process for the publication of papers. Keeping in mind the ongoing pandemic situation in the country we’ve reduced the Article Processing Charges to 500 Rs from 850 Rs.

III. WHO CAN SUBMIT?

1. Legal Research Scholars,
2. Lawyers,
3. Judges,
4. Law Professors,
5. Law Students,
6. Any person who can write on any topic related to the field of law.

NOTE:

It is requested that please do not submit any paper without reading the Journal’s Policies such as Publication Policy, Submission Guidelines, Review Policy, Plagiarism Policy, Publication Ethics and Publication Malpractice Statement, Article Processing Charges (ACP) and Withdrawal Policy etc.

It is also requested that do not submit more than one paper at a time otherwise it will be rejected. You can submit the next paper only after the selection or rejection of your current paper. Submissions must be the original & unpublished work of the author(s) and must not be submitted or must not be under consideration for publication in any other medium whether online or offline.       

IV. PLAGIARISM POLICY:

Papers submitted for publication to Law Audience Journal must be plagiarism free otherwise it will be rejected (nominal percentage of similarity is acceptable). The Journal uses paid software to detect the Plagiarism. But, however, it is the duty of the author(s) to ensure the originality. The Journal shall not be liable for any plagiarism or copyright issue.

V. PUBLICATION & REVIEW POLICY:

All the manuscripts (research papers, articles, short-articles, case comments and book-reviews) must adhere to Journal’s Policies. Non-Compliance with Journal’s Policies will amount to disqualification or rejection of the manuscript.

VI. ARTICLE PROCESSING CHARGES:

For Author or Co-Authors (Students & Professionals): 500 Rs only. 

Article Processing Charges are common for all, doesn’t matter whether you’re a Student or a Professional or your submission is Single Authored or Co-Authored. The Article Processing Charges will remain the same for all, i.e., 500 Rs only.

Article Processing Charges (APC) will be charged from the author only after the selection of his/her paper or manuscript for publication. You’re not required to pay any kind of payment or registration fees prior to selection of your paper. Only after the selection of your paper you’re required to pay the Article Processing Charges. 

After the publication of the Manuscripts the author(s) will receive the following things namely,

a)A final soft copy of your published & edited paper;

b)A soft copy of certificate of publication;

c)The link to the published paper;

d)The link to the concerned Volume 3 & Issue 4 (by using this link you can download the PDF files of the Manuscripts published in that particular Volume 3 & Issue 4). 

VII. THEME:

Author(s) can submit a paper on any theme related to the field of law or any related field or disciplines.

VIII. ABSTRACT (OPTIONAL):

A short abstract of 200 to 300 words that outline the main questions or themes addressed in the paper is required to be sent along with the paper. No need to send it separately.

IX. TYPE OF SUBMISSIONS:

Short-Articles:

(2000-2500 words, inclusive of footnotes)

Articles:

(2600-4000 words, inclusive of footnotes)

Research Papers:

(4100-10,000 words, inclusive of footnotes)

Case Comments:

(2500-3000 words, inclusive of footnotes)

Book Reviews:

(2000-3000 words, inclusive of footnotes)

X. AUTHORSHIP:

A maximum of one co-author is permitted. Submission more than 1 co-author shall be disqualified.

XI. CITATION STYLE:

The method of citation which is expected to be followed is Harvard Bluebook 19th Edition.

XII. FORMAT OF THE MAIN TEXT & THE FOOTNOTES (SUBMISSION GUIDELINES):

1. Times New Roman font, in font size 12 is prescribed for all submissions.
2. Further, the footnotes shall be in font size 10 and in the Times New Roman font.
3. A line spacing of 1.5 for the main text and 1.0 for the footnotes is to be followed.
4. All submissions are to be sent in either  or docx format (MS Word File).Note any submission in pdf form shall not be accepted.

XIII. HEADINGS & SUB-HEADINGS SHOULD FOLLOW THE FOLLOWING STANDARDS:

Headings and subheadings: All Capitals and Bold and Justify (Times New Roman font, in font size 14). 

XIV. COPYRIGHT LICENSING AGREEMENT:

All the submissions shortlisted for publication in the journal are bound to enter into a copyright licensing agreement with the journal. The said agreement will be transferring certain rights in favour of the journal.

We’ll be emailing a soft copy of the said agreement to the shortlisted manuscripts and they’ll have to take a print out of the same and then they’ll have to sign it and then email us a scanned copy of the said agreement at lawjournal@lawaudience.com or lawaudience@gmail.com. We’ll be publishing the shortlisted manuscripts in our journal only after receiving the scanned copy of the said agreement.

XV. HOW TO SUBMIT:

• All the submissions must be uploaded or submitted through Google Form only (You’ll also receive a copy of the submitted Google form on your mentioned email id (check your Spam Folder also)). 
• If you face any issue/difficulty while submitting your paper online then send your papers at lawjournal@lawaudience.com or lawaudience@gmail.com,with the subject as “Submission of Paper for Publication in Volume 3: Law Audience Journal”. If you’re submitting papers via email then it must also include a “Cover Page” mentioning the details of the Author(s) such as name(s), college/university, email(s), contact no(s), course details etc., on the first page of the paper.

XVI. CONFIRMATION OF PAPERS:

• Confirmation of Shortlisted Papers for Publication: Within 4 days from the date of submission of your paper.
• Publication of Shortlisted Papers: Within 3 days from the date of submission of the Copyright Agreement and Article Processing Charges.

XVIII. IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Submissions must be the original & unpublished work of the author(s) and must not be submitted or must not be under consideration for publication in any other medium whether online or offline.
2. The Journal owns the right to discard entries which do not obey to the Guidelines for Submission.
3. The Journal reserves the absolute rights to prepone or cancel or postpone the publication of research papers in the event of the accruing of any event, natural or man-made.
4. The Journal reserves the absolute rights to take any decision as per the situation which is not mentioned in this official notification and after taking such decision the same shall be notified on our official website (www.lawaudience.com).
